In the same way an appliance has to be plugged in before it can "work"... the Christian has to be plugged into the Holy Spirit... the divine "power source"... in order to be the person God is calling them to be.

If we're ever going to be men of purity... and if we're ever going to manage the urges and passions of the flesh... we absolutely must have the power of the Holy Spirit.

It's non-negotiable.
